I tried cooks pond myself a few weeks ago, taking the trip down from the north shore. The pond produced very well, with several nice ones in the cove off to the right and around the corner from the ramp. It was very shallow in the cove, but lots of great cover and huge boulder structure - easy access from the kayak; and peaceful with all the motor boats staying over the other side where there were less rocks. |

Nice job Neil- always a great outing with 20 or so fish! That's been the story for me lately, I've only been able to get a couple trips in so far and the big bass have won the battle......hopefully not the war! |
