You had better luck than I did. I was out there for about four hours before you and came away with nothing. Had a few hits here and there, but no joy. The water was quite clear, perhaps thanks to the swift current, but the water is the lowest I've seen it this summer; you could clearly pick out the bottom up close to the bridge. Didn't see any fish, but lots of nice places for fish to hide. Best hit came on a big Culprit worm in kiwi that I was working actively along the lily pads, but that was about it. Bumped into Michael K from this forum while out, he having some success with his Senko, but it'll have to be another day for me. |
