Went out after work and figured I'd try my hand at fishing the Merrimack in Lowell. No luck, will try another spot soon.

Took a spin out here during my lunch break and met two guys fishing one of which was sponsored by Bass Pro Shop. Didn't catch anything but couldn't stay long. Will definitely be back here as they said this is a great spot.

First time out trying my brand new Okuma Tundra 10' pole with Diawa DF100a Giant reel. Had a great time, lots of nibbles and lost a lot of bait but managed to pull in an 18" striper. Released the fish and wasn't able to snag anything else after that.
