Went bass fishing. 7 largemouths, 2 big rock bass, 3 small sunfish, and a big bluegill. Am starting to put fishing videos on youtube. Shot 2 episodes will be up soon.

I didnt even think pickerel ate bass as long as they are a decent size. Oh well mabye the pickerel is a bully and the bass is the fat kid at school.

Hey I've got a question. In a small pond I witnessed a large bass being chased around by a pickerel half its size. I heard that a bass can eat or try to eat anything smaller than itself. Does anyone know why this huge largie didn't protect itself?

My homemade jitterbugs have been putting the smallmouths in my ney this year. Let me know if you want one I can do custom colors or traditional patterns.I haven't come up with pricing yet or packaging but this is a start . Check out my photos to see the goods.

Carpman Go get some senko 3 and 4" long pick a color. Wacky rig it with wide gap hook. Cast it let it fall for a while and jigg the tip. let it fall, keep repeating. Trust me dude. Try it Let me know how it works.

I need help. Haven't caught a bass all year, I've tried everything, spinners, poppers, worms, swim baits. Everything but live shiners(maybe that's my problem). Last year I had great luck at this one spot. This year nothing. What's going on!

Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire bass are fusy but try using rooster tail spinners, floating rapala , and topwater lures. The easy fix is to catch some local bait fish if you can. crickets work good on small mouths.

Has anyone fished Black Lake just outside of Thousand Islands, NY before?

No, not really. That is if your talking about lures. As far as natural fish. I dont know where you are in Jersey but when Im down there with family some of my cousins buy Killies at the bait store. Thay aren't up here only shiners and shad fr the most part , obvously there are sunfish and bluegill for them to also feed on.
