My Last Day At The Chu 2014

Very cold upon arrival like a toasty 18 degrees. Started at gate 6 just walking around casting lures. No action. Went to gate 19 took a nice walk around and finally got my PB laker. Nothing enormous but made me very happy. I've had a great month there been there about 11 times only struck out twice. Caught my fish today on a 3/4 oz crippled herring.

I only live 20 -30 min away. I haven't fished the q res so for my money best fishery in ma. She can make yah or break yah. Every outing a chance at fish of a life time. Some may grumble about no boats but in my opinion keeps fishing stocks up.

Ya place is incredible. I spent a lot of money on gas last month lol. Can't wait to go back in the spring.

I had a terrible fall at the chu as well. Fished 3 days in one week without a fish. Had some bites but no serious takers. Spring was fantastic.Was lucky to catch a 13.5lb laker in the middle of july to make an otherwise down yr terrific. May never top that laker but can't wait to try in the spring! It can't come fast enough. Now I know what the big gals want maybe I can top it!

last laker i caught was opening day, been horrible this season. i dont even think i had a bite at all this fall.
