Ingram's Pond Description

Take RT one south to 113 follow 113 south to SHEEP PEN ROAD South of Georgetown just before route 20 . Turn right to the second stop sign then turn left pond is on the right less than 1/2 a mile. Largemouth bass numbers are high in this small pond and increasing numbers of 15 to 18 inch fish are available.Moderate numbers of black crappie are available with some trophies caught during the spring months. The back of the pond, with its abundance of flooded timber, holds crappie early in the year. Bluegill are present in a wide range of sizes, but the proportion of fish over 8 inches is relatively high. High temperatures at Ingram Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ingram Pond are in the 20's. Ingram Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
